The Watts LF909 is a lead-free reduced-pressure zone backflow preventer designed to safeguard potable water systems from contamination caused by backpressure or backsiphonage. Available in small (¾″–2″) and large (2½″–10″) models, it features a patented air-in/water-out relief valve design for superior emergency discharge capacity. The modular cast bronze or cast iron body boasts easy, in-line maintenance with replaceable check modules, top-mounted test cocks, and no special tooling required. Additionally, the large models integrate a flood sensor with SentryPlus Alert technology for proactive flood detection and notification. Ideal for health-hazard cross-connections and building service-line containment.
